Joined the steno community around September 2025, goes by "Red".

Started by learning Lapwing until Dec 2025. Currently studying at Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio virtually, learning a theory thought to be heavily derived from Phoenix, and aiming to become a professional stenographer.

Writes on a Starboard as well as an Elan Mira machine, using digiCAT software and Plover.

Strangely, I have extensive experience contributing to a wiki before and I have a lot of thoughts on how to reorganize the place, as well as improve it and implement templates, categories, etc. There is a lot of information I would like to see added, so I will at least set up the structure for it to be added if not add it myself. I am doing my best to not remove or change any existing information, but simply move it around, reorganize, and add to it.

Since I am relatively new to the community, I would love to learn anything about it that I don't know yet. If I add incorrect or outdated information to a page, do not hesitate to simply edit and correct it.
